About
Tracey Molenaar Counselling & Psychology
My name is Tracey Molenaar. I have been a Clinical Therapist in Private Practice for many years. I have catered to a diverse clientele, including emergency services and frontline staff, Open Arms, Work Cover, and NDIS.
My personal and professional life experiences have given me a deep respect for the strengths that are gained through encountering life challenges and in helping people to identify and grow these strengths.
My passion is working with Frontline Workers, particularly Emergency Services workers. It gives me a deep admiration for the strengths they possess that enable them to perform a uniquely challenging occupation, and support them to navigate the trauma they inevitably encounter and to grow the ways they can do this in a way that honours themselves, allows them to balance their lives and return to a sense of peace.
My approach is grounded in client-centred principles, informed by trauma awareness and fortified by a strengths-based methodology. This approach empowers and supports clients to identify, process and develop strategies to address the impact of trauma, whether experienced personally or vicariously.
As a clinical therapist, I maintain an unwavering commitment to upholding the highest ethical standards, with a paramount emphasis on safeguarding the privacy of individuals. The core tenets of confidentiality, trust and objectivity are non-negotiable, and I remain steadfast in my dedication to provide quality care. Guided by a stringent code of ethics, I continuously prioritise the well-being and privacy of those under my care.
